I feel like everyone drives something interesting in this series, so I suppose I should make a list or something of what everyone has. There are way too many cars in this series, so for now I suppose I’ll just start with everyone’s personal cars and not list everything they pick up as they take on their various stupid historical adventures and whatnot.

  • Ells: 1968 Mini Cooper S, which she’s named Francis after a fictional character she’s quite familiar with. It’s her baby and she takes wonderful care of it.
  • Armo: 1975 Ford Escort Mark II, which he’s named Kullervo after a Kalevala character whom he feels represents the car’s own history (i.e. he rescued it from the scrap heap and restored it so that it could avenge the wrongs done to it).
  • Rugen: A crappy early 1980s Volkswagen Jetta that looks like it’s going to fall apart at any second. She loves the show MXC – since character Kenny Blankenship drives a Jetta, she got one, too. Ells constantly tries to find ways to destroy the Jetta, but to no avail.
  • Chris: Ford F-150 pickup. Nothing special about hers, though, since it’s newer.
  • Clyde: He makes no secret of his desire to own both a Lotus and a Morgan. When he arrived in America for college, he desperately searched around for an imported British car and eventually found himself an MG MGB from the 1960s. After some maintenance, he’s got the thing running suspiciously well for an MG, which means he’s a very, very talented person.
  • Rory: Early 1960s Triumph Herald convertible. (Notably, this was the car James May tried to turn into a sailboat.)
  • Clarence: Early 1980s Jaguar XJ6, which he bought used and in not the best condition ever and then restored surprisingly lovingly for someone who likes to destroy things.
  • Bridget: Renault Clio, which she’s quite good at driving quickly.
  • Mark: Early 2000s Toyota Corolla, which he’s had since graduating high school.
  • Gregor: 2003 Toyota Avalon, which is really quite boring.
  • Harvey: Chevrolet Silverado, because he, like his girlfriend, enjoys trucks.
  • LaGuardia: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (Yenko). It’s extremely well-maintained because she’s constantly working on it.
  • Vito: 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale. He’s quite proud of this car.
  • Julien: Drives a Ford Ka (for personal reasons which the comic will delve into), but his parents are super-rich and own a large number of cars, including a Bugatti Veyron (which pretty much everyone else in the comic wants to drive regardless of whether or not they care about cars because it’s SO COOL).
  • Colin: No car, namely because he has a lovely motorcycle.
  • Corinna: Her parents’ Honda Accord for the moment, but she’s planning on getting a hatchback of her own when she can.
  • Logan: Early 2000s Jeep Cherokee. She loves driving in the mud.
  • Eloise: Her dream is to own an old station wagon/estate car with wood panels, but for now she’s only able to afford her used Ford Focus.
  • Sylvia: Wants to drive an NYC taxi cab, but instead has a Fiat 500 because she’s a city kid and that’s possible to park in a city.
  • Sigrund: She’s usually riding her bike places, but she does have a Volkswagen Golf GTi that she uses when she needs to drive somewhere. Johann suggested the car to her.
  • Johann: Porsche 911 GT3. He has good taste.
  • Dong-hae: Kia Soul, which he’s customized to make quite cool and eye-catching. He bought it after repeatedly watching the hamster commercials on YouTube.
  • Benno: Late 1980s BMW E30 M3. It’s been to more track days than he can count and is significantly cooler than its driver.
  • Gavin: He has an old Land Rover for off-roading, but at home his family has a Holden Monaro. He finds himself defending Holden quite frequently.
  • Minami: Nissan 240SX. My dad had one of these and it’s one of the first cars I have memories of, so it’s special to me. It could “talk” and loved to remind my dad that “Fuel level is low.”
  • Gustaf: Volvo C30. His parents work for Volvo, so he gets the employee discount.
  • Lesedi: Chevrolet Aveo, which she looks exceedingly cool in. Gavin calls it a Holden Barina.
  • Kelly: Ford Fusion, as they currently use it in NASCAR.
  • Byron: Nissan Altima, because he really just wants something to get him from point A to point B.

Characters who don’t currently own cars: Corey, Karen, Jessie, Stacy, Jake, Bryce, and Rico. Corey, Karen and Stacy currently bum rides off of Ells and Chris, Jessie and Rico commute everywhere using public transport, and Jake and Bryce are in high school and haven’t gotten their licenses yet. Corinna actually drives her parents’ car when she’s not at college, although Clyde’s been known to take her out in his every so often.
