So occasionally life catches up with me and I don’t get a chance to write very much here, but I’m going to try to make up for that now.

I’ve got quite a few projects currently in the works, but I’m not at liberty to talk about some of them fully yet because I don’t want to spoil them for you! What I can tell you is that my friend Hayley (Tumblr | Livejournal) and I are working on a comic together in which she does the art and I do the writing (we’re both playing to our strengths, basically). I’m not going to talk about what it’s about yet since we’re nowhere near close to launching, but what I can tell you is be excited because her art is INCREDIBLE. (See?)

In things I can talk about, I’ve done some art for a fellow Orioles blogger, and it’ll be running on his site every other Sunday. Speaking of the Orioles, they’re in playoff contention right now, which is one of the things that’s been keeping me so busy lately – my sportswriting job is actually interesting at the moment! It was a lot harder to keep things interesting when the team was playing like crap last year, that’s for sure – I don’t have a shortage of material this time around.

I should probably also start scripting the next Historians arc even though I’m only just beginning with this one and it’s an eight-page script (I haven’t even left page one yet). I’ve done some preliminary art pertaining to it, though, so here’s a hint about what’s going on: a couple of sketches of Corey as an aviatrix.

I messed up a little on the first one – the flaps on the leather helmet are supposed to go over her ears, as they do in the second one. (I actually own a helmet like that, which I purchased at Rhinebeck Aerodrome back in 2008.) Nevertheless, Corey makes the cutest pilot ever, so I think I’m going to dress her up like this whenever possible regardless of plot points because she looks adorable.

More when I have more to write, I suppose!
