I drew this at work yesterday. Work is a historic church with stained glass windows done by Matisse and Chagall that has horrible cell service and no internet, which is why this is drawn so horribly. (Corey’s hand in the last panel makes me cry.)
Anyhow, I’m currently on vacation, so the reason I drew this at work was so that I’d still be able to update whilst being away! I’m not sure if I’ll be able to update next week, as I’m returning home on Monday and there’s no scanner here, so I’ll keep you all posted on that.
Candide is Corey’s cat, as mentioned back in her introduction. This is how she rescued him – he was in the historical society’s parking lot during a rainstorm, and she brought him home. Now he actually comes to work with her and is the society’s mascot of sorts.
