I actually drew this at AnimeNEXT this past weekend, so it’s a traditional four-panel gag comic of sorts. I also didn’t really have time to draw anything nice, but I met Berryz Koubou, so that was really awesome!
If you don’t know Berryz Koubou, they’re a Hello!Project J-pop girl group that’s probably best known for covering a notorious Eurovision song about Genghis Khan:
Corey is not only nervous about talking to the new boy, but she’s now found out that he’s not normal, either. Just when you think the fellow’s all uptight and serious, he tells you he gets giddy over dessert. Yep.
I’ll probably elaborate more on Corey’s boy problems in a later strip, but if you know me personally you’ll know what I mean when I say that it’s based on a certain aspect of my childhood. I’ll let her tell you, though.
